Frank B. Weiss is the Managing Partner of AVB Development Partners (AVBDP). His career in shopping center development started in 1975 as a construction worker, Weiss literally learned from the ground up. Weiss continued his real world education as a “jack of all trades” with the family development company in Los Angeles. Weiss was recruited by Home Capital Corp., the largest Savings and Loan subsidiary in the US, and relocated to San Diego, CA. in 1982. As Vice President for Commercial Real Estate, he was responsible for all commercial and multifamily developments with a combined total of over $200,000,000. In 1992 Weiss formed the Weiss Company which was responsible for over $20,000,000 in projects. In 1997, Weiss joined Tony (A.V.) Madureira and formed AVB Development Partners. Since then, AVBDP has completed over $120,000,000 in projects.
